Yousician, a music‑learning platform with about 20 million monthly users, faced inconsistent A/B test targeting across Windows, macOS, Android, iOS and web. Their existing tool often placed users in “sticky” tests they no longer used, producing inaccurate measurements and potential bad user experiences, so Yousician turned to Unleash (Unleash Enterprise) for a backend‑controlled solution.

Unleash was integrated via an SDK into Yousician’s backend so all targeting decisions happen in real time on their servers, with custom stickiness strategies to ensure the same users always land in the same variant. As a result, Unleash enabled consistent targeting across platforms, more accurate measurement and the ability to run more complex A/B tests and automatically target eligible users—improving test effectiveness across Yousician’s 20M monthly users.
