Students Discover What’s Possible With Robotics At Iqlandia

iQLANDIA, a science center in Liberec, Czech Republic, wanted to showcase modern robotics to students and prove that robots are easy to use, safe, and not overly complicated. To meet this challenge, it turned to Universal Robots and its UR5 collaborative robot for an interactive exhibit aimed at primary and secondary school visitors.

Universal Robots helped iQLANDIA create “Robot Run,” an interactive maze game built around the UR5 robot that lets visitors control the arm from a mobile device while demonstrating precision, 360-degree movement, and simple programming. The exhibit has become a popular attraction, drawing more than 50,000 young visitors each year and helping Universal Robots inspire future generations with a hands-on robotics experience.
