RAMTEC, the robotics education center in Marion, Ohio, needed to keep its training aligned with what local manufacturers were adopting, especially as collaborative robots became more common in industry. To stay ahead of the skills gap and prepare students—from middle schoolers to adult learners—for real-world manufacturing jobs, RAMTEC chose Universal Robots cobots, including the UR3, UR5, and UR10.

Universal Robots provided an easy-to-program, safe, and flexible solution that RAMTEC uses for hands-on robot programming, machine tending, PLC networking, and customized gripper design.
