The customer, CC Compact Cleaning GmbH, an Austrian cleaning services provider with over 500 employees, faced the challenge of modernizing its outdated IT infrastructure. The company required a new system that was location-independent, fail-safe, scalable, and featured central administration, all while ensuring GDPR-compliant data storage in Austria. They partnered with Univention and selected its Univention Corporate Server (UCS) product as the core of their solution.

The solution implemented by Univention, through its partner A1, was "A1 – IT in a Box" powered by UCS. This provided central identity management, single sign-on for Office365, a central file server, and connected all locations and employee notebooks. The project was completed on a tight four-month schedule, successfully migrating data and deploying new hardware.
