Pearl River County recovers 20 years of data with Unitrends

Pearl River County faced a significant risk to its critical data, including decades of court documents and county maps, due to inadequate backup and recovery capabilities. To address this challenge, the county turned to vendor Unitrends and implemented a Unitrends Recovery Series 824S appliance for data protection.

The Unitrends solution proved its value when a major failure threatened nearly 7TB of data. The Unitrends appliance successfully restored everything, recovering over 20 years of critical information. Following this, the county expanded its use of Unitrends to protect additional servers and added RXDA removable media for extra security. The result was complete data recovery and ongoing, reliable protection for the county's operations.
