Life’s Abundance, a maker of natural health and pet products, needed to modernize backup and move off a cumbersome tape-based process. IT director Charlie Scherker — effectively a one-person IT team — required an easy-to-use solution that could protect a mixed environment (Hyper-V, Windows 2012 R2 and 2003, and a critical SQL 2014 cluster).
