A United Living Group Case Study

Preview of the Wolverhampton Homes Case Study

Wolverhampton Homes - Customer Case Study

United Living Group has partnered with Wolverhampton Homes for more than 14 years to improve the City of Wolverhampton council’s housing stock. The key challenge was the Heath Town estate, a large 1960s development with a history of crime, anti-social behaviour, deprivation, poor energy efficiency and the need for extensive physical, environmental and social renewal.

United Living Group delivered a £120 million regeneration programme at Heath Town and ongoing home improvements through a Strategic Construction Partnership running until 2028, including refurbishment, fire safety works, energy efficiency upgrades, landscaping, new play areas and parking improvements. The project involved extensive resident consultation across a multilingual community, spoke directly to 90% of tenants, and has supported 137 jobs, 62 work placements, 20 apprenticeships, 56% of site workers from WV postcodes, almost £50,000 in local donations, 150 volunteering hours and 32 school visits, while helping reduce residents’ fuel bills and improve safety.
