Network Homes needed to replace 14 one-bed flats at Colebrook Court in Hertford with larger, affordable family homes as local demand grew, but without acquiring more land. United Living Group partnered on the regeneration project, working with the client and using modern methods of construction to reimagine the existing building.

United Living Group delivered a rooftop extension and full building remodel that added an extra storey, created 11 larger homes, and expanded internal space by 22%. The scheme also improved accessibility, fire and acoustic separation, the external appearance, and long-term sustainability, including a flat roof with photovoltaic panels to help generate renewable energy.
