Vetco Clinics, owned by Petco, needed to replace a paper-based intake and medical-record process that slowed Saturday-morning clinic operations, frustrated customers, and made it hard to build lasting relationships with pet owners. To speed delivery and add scalability without building its own datacenter, Vetco partnered with United Data Technologies (UDT) and Tribridge to create a cloud-based solution on Microsoft Azure.

United Data Technologies (UDT) helped Vetco deploy PetPass, a web-based customer relationship management and electronic medical records app running on Azure services such as SQL Azure, Azure App Service, Azure Storage, and Azure Active Directory. The result was faster patient intake, more accurate digital records, automated texts and emails to customers, improved security for about 700 tablets, and a scalable platform that supports Vetco’s growth and spiky weekend demand.
