UDT Helps Coweta County School System Transition to 21st Century Education Technologies

Coweta County School System (CCSS), serving about 23,000 K-12 students across more than 30 campuses in Georgia, was preparing for a three-year plan to move classrooms toward 21st century learning. The district needed a major wireless and infrastructure upgrade to support interactive whiteboards, student response systems, web-based learning, and a future 1:1 device environment, so it turned to United Data Technologies for guidance and implementation.

United Data Technologies helped CCSS replace aging Meru hallway access points with a full wireless refresh, including 800 Aerohive APs initially and later another 1,400 APs plus 400 HP switches. UDT also upgraded connectivity from 100 Mbps to 10 Gbps between schools and supplied 2,500 Dell Chromebook 11 devices, imaged and asset-tagged for classroom carts. The result was a world-class network and a strong foundation for digital curriculum rollout, with CCSS praising UDT’s responsiveness and expertise.
