UDT Delivers Simple and Easy-To-Use Fully-Integrated System for the School District of Indian River County

Indian River School District faced a major challenge modernizing classrooms for more than 16,000 students across 28 schools. Teachers were using outdated, incompatible technology and often lacked the training to integrate it effectively. United Data Technologies (UDT) was brought in to help support the district’s Technology Integration Initiative (Ti²) with a simpler, classroom-ready solution.

UDT implemented the Pole Vault system, a fully integrated, network-enabled package designed to be easy for teachers to use and supported from installation through service and repair. The rollout began with a pilot for 40 teachers and expanded districtwide after strong feedback. As a measurable result, the share of SDIRC schools earning an “A” or “B” grade rose from 74% to 95%, while teachers reported they could do more in less time.
