A United Data Technologies Case Study
Christopher Columbus High School partnered with United Data Technologies (UDT) to address unreliable computer labs, outdated classroom technology, and an aging TV production setup that limited teaching and student media work. The school needed a more integrated, dependable technology environment that could support instruction across classrooms, labs, the library, and multimedia production.
UDT delivered a campus-wide upgrade that included Smart Boards, LCD projectors, PCs in every classroom, five computer labs with 168 flat LCD monitors, a wireless notebook classroom, and a digital library with e-books. UDT also modernized the production studio with a Tricaster board, HD cameras, and other digital equipment, expanding the school from 3 servers to 19. As a result, Christopher Columbus High School became a “Smart Showcase School,” with more reliable systems, stronger curriculum integration, and a more engaging learning experience for students and teachers.
