A Unit4 Financial Planning & Analysis Case Study

Preview of the Hoople Case Study

Underpinning efficiency savings for Hoople and its customers

Hoople Ltd is a public‑sector shared services provider founded in 2011 by Herefordshire Council and Wye Valley NHS Trust to deliver back‑office finance, HR, payroll and IT for multiple partners. Confronted with rising demand, funding cuts and a costly mix of disparate systems, Hoople needed a single, highly flexible ERP to eliminate duplication, reduce ownership costs and support future partner on‑boarding.

Following a competitive tender, Hoople selected Unit4 ERP for its local‑government experience and adaptable platform and rolled it out across Hoople and customer organisations, supporting over 4,000 employees. Using an in‑house template and training workshops to onboard new clients in about six months, the solution reduced system and maintenance costs, sped up workflows and reporting through self‑service and automated processes, improved visibility and flexibility, and created a scalable foundation for further efficiency savings.
