The National Trust, Europe’s largest conservation charity (5.6 million members, 13,000 staff), was hindered by a fragmented ERP landscape and overlapping manual finance and procurement processes that made data hard to extract and slowed decision‑making—shortcomings that became acute during the Covid‑19 funding shortfall.
