Reykjavik University, a privately funded higher-education institution in Iceland pursuing international growth, needed a more robust financial infrastructure and higher-quality financial data that fully integrated with its long-standing Unit4 ERP. With the pandemic accelerating its digital plans, the finance team also wanted end users to be more self-sufficient and confident in budgeting and reporting despite dispersed staff and subsidiaries.

The university implemented Unit4 Financial Planning & Analysis (in Icelandic and English), delivered remotely in six weeks and tightly integrated with its ERP using an iterative, agile approach. The intuitive platform required minimal training, sped up forecasting and revenue planning, freed power users to build new processes, and delivered time savings, greater confidence across users, and clear plans to extend FP&A for consolidations, grants and HR planning.
