Accent is a UK housing association managing over 20,000 homes for more than 35,000 residents and aiming to build up to 500 new homes a year. Rapid growth and a complex financial model left Accent relying on multiple manual processes, spreadsheet reporting and disconnected ordering systems, which constrained agility and consumed finance team capacity.

Accent implemented Unit4’s integrated ERP (finance, procurement, payroll, fixed assets and planner) to automate purchase-to-pay, expenses and approvals with mobile task apps and unified reporting. The change cut month‑end accruals from 10 days to 3, sped year‑end reporting and financial sign‑off (one month faster), reduced expense processing from hours to minutes, simplified fixed‑asset accounting, and improved visibility and adaptability across the business.
