Minister of Finance Company worked with Unisys to help its department and 24 agencies improve service delivery and make 70% of citizen services available digitally by 2019. The challenge was to modernize government IT and enable faster, more efficient services for taxpayers.

Unisys implemented a digital government shared services solution on a consumption-based model, including cloud and infrastructure services, a cloud/hybrid IT environment, and managed services for applications, service desk, virtual desktop, and communications. The result was a more financially sustainable infrastructure with lower ownership costs, faster scaling and transformation, 128 new jobs created, and major service desk gains: 29% more calls answered, response times cut to 50 seconds from 152 seconds, and missed calls reduced by two-thirds.
