To address this challenge, vendor Unisys provided a global end user services model, including service desk, desktop management and support, endpoint security, and deskside support.
Unisys implemented 24/7 support in 13 languages for roughly 50,000 users across 74 locations, along with a unified global security policy and stronger IT governance. The result was a single, globally consistent service desk experience, first call resolution above the 70% target, and about a 20% reduction in service delivery costs.
