Ensuring the ability to handle growth in China’s aviation industry quickly and securely

TravelSky, China’s aviation and travel technology provider, needed to support the rapid growth of what IATA forecast would become the world’s largest air passenger market by 2029. To meet this challenge, Unisys supplied scalable, secure platforms including ClearPath Forward Dorado systems, Aircore next-generation passenger system, and logistics and cargo solutions for TravelSky’s airline and cargo customers.

Unisys implemented ClearPath Forward Dorado systems with Extended Transaction Capacity (XTC) clustering, along with Aircore and Unisys Logistics Management System/Cargo Portal Service delivered via a secure private cloud. The solution helped TravelSky quickly and securely handle projected growth to 1.19 billion passengers in 2034 and enabled Air China to manage about 50 million flight queries and 1 million booking requests per day.
