Ensuring Excellent Customer Service, a supermarket retailer in Brazil, needed to deliver a great shopping experience with high-quality grocery and retail products at low cost while maintaining reliable checkout and in-store operations. To support this, it worked with Unisys and used Unisys Digital Workplace Field Engineering Services, including logistics, across its retail environment.
Unisys implemented field engineering support for more than 10,000 devices, including printers, scanners, servers, and routers across 200 retail stores in Brazil. The result was improved checkout reliability, better inventory management with reduced downtime, and less complexity in maintaining equipment uptime, helping the customer keep prices low while sustaining efficient service.
