ENAIRE and AENA needed a way to deliver safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly air navigation and airport services while supporting operations across a large, international airport network. To address this, they worked with Unisys on consulting, design, implementation, networking, application services, and managed services, including help desk support.

Unisys implemented critical applications across security, commercial, and operations functions, including an integrated airport security system and modernization of flight information displays and sales/income analysis systems. The result was a standardized, easier-to-maintain security platform used across 60 airports, a more consistent procurement policy with fewer providers, and a partnership that grew over 30 years alongside more than 20% passenger traffic growth in the last decade.
