TaskRabbit Finds Success with Multi-Channel Approach

TaskRabbit, an on-demand platform that connects users with local Taskers to handle household chores and errands, wanted to find new customers across multiple markets. To achieve this, TaskRabbit partnered with Unique Influence to build a multi-channel advertising program using intent-driven Google search, Facebook retargeting, and iTunes Search Ads Beta to drive app installs and broader market growth.

Unique Influence implemented a unified messaging strategy, expanded TaskRabbit’s keyword base and monitored underperforming queries, launched Facebook retargeting to convert high-intent but non-converting traffic, and ran iTunes Search Ads to lower mobile acquisition costs. Since working with Unique Influence (starting January 2016), TaskRabbit has seen a 146% increase in tasks sent, a +0.5% lift in conversion rate, a 14% higher search CTR, and improved efficiencies across supporting channels.
