Case Study: Cricket Australia achieves one unified, locally‑branded intranet for 10 associations with Unily

A Unily Case Study

Preview of the Cricket Australia Case Study

Uniting Cricket Australia With a Single Intranet Platform

Cricket Australia, the national governing body for the sport and umbrella for eight state associations and other regional bodies (ten competing brands in total), needed a way to bring players, staff and administrators together without erasing strong local identities. Facing an expensive bespoke build, Cricket Australia selected Unily and its Intranet-as-a-Service platform to deliver a single, easy-to-use intranet that could unite teams while preserving state branding and culture.

Unily delivered a ready-made intranet prototype in just nine weeks and rolled it out state-by-state with features like localized theming, targeted national and local news, a centralised employee directory, mobile access and Office 365/Yammer integrations. The Unily solution cut duplication, improved findability and collaboration, achieved 2500+ sessions per day, and earned an 81% “I love it” user response—establishing one platform that serves ten distinct cricket organisations.
