Southampton FC, a Premier League club with around 400 employees across multiple sites, struggled with one-way internal comms delivered mainly by email and needed a central, mobile-friendly place for staff with varying tech literacy to connect, access information and engage with leadership. To modernize its internal communications the club chose Unily and launched a vanilla Unily intranet called Team Talk Live as its core employee platform.

Unily delivered a mobile-ready intranet with Unily Social, simple content management, Office 365/SharePoint and Skype integration, and bespoke forms (e.g., a Design Request) to streamline processes and onboarding. The results were strong: 98% of unique users log in regularly (vs. a 70% goal), 10% use the mobile app regularly, and the team published 61 stories in eight weeks (vs. a 40-story target), while reducing task friction and improving leadership visibility.
