Baker Hughes Uniting a global enterprise with a world-class employee experience platform

Baker Hughes, the energy technology company, needed to unite more than 50,000 employees across 80 countries and replace two siloed legacy intranets with a single employee experience platform. With 25,000 contingent workers and 34% of colleagues working in the field, the company needed better access to information, stronger internal communications, and a solution that worked well on mobile as well as desktop.

Baker Hughes chose Unily to launch MyBakerHughes, a centralized intranet and digital HQ with search, personalization, integrations, and employee profiles. The platform was launched in April 2020 and later recognized by Nielsen Norman Group as one of the world’s best intranets; it also delivered 10x more average visits than the previous legacy intranets combined.
