Fairmont Supply, a Washington, PA–based full-line MRO distributor with a 95,000‑item catalog, needed an e-commerce platform that could not only host its large product assortment but also repurpose rich product data for sales and marketing. The company selected Unilog’s CIMM2 platform to stand up its first online storefront and to mine product content for internal flyers, booklets and sales collateral.
Unilog implemented CIMM2 with its InDesign print catalog plug‑in to pull product content, images and taxonomy from the PIM into prebuilt InDesign templates or PDFs. The solution lets Fairmont quickly create targeted flyers and booklets—typically a few pieces per week with 10–20 items (up to 400) per piece—and circulate files in minutes, improving sales team product knowledge and eliminating the need for costly outsourced catalog production.
