Shearer Supply, a third-generation HVAC wholesale distributor, needed to modernize its sales channels and product information after lagging several years behind B2C digital trends. In 2017 they partnered with Unilog to build their first eCommerce presence and address challenges around accurate product content, dealer self‑service, and operational efficiency using Unilog’s CX1 Platform and CX1 PIM.
Unilog’s CX1 Platform (with the CX1 PIM), along with CMS customizations and integrations like the AHRI Product Matchup implemented via partner ImpaqX, centralized enriched product data, simplified parts lookup and ordering, and enabled targeted promotions. The result: about 20% of customers now use the site, online average order value is double offline AOV, internal teams save time, manual parts research has been greatly reduced, and Shearer Supply reports measurable growth and improved customer self‑service thanks to Unilog.
