TIPCO Technologies, a long-established industrial fluid conveyance distributor based in Owings Mills, Maryland, needed to add a modern eCommerce channel to stay competitive after relying on unreliable, static ERP product data. In 2020 TIPCO recognized customers expected a B2C-like digital experience and partnered with Unilog (via IDCO) to address their lack of online capabilities and inconsistent product content.
Unilog deployed its CX1 eCommerce platform and provided access to the IDCO CX1 PIM powered by Unilog — including more than 300,000 enriched SKUs — enabling a fully transactional B2B site with personalized catalogs for custom hose assemblies. The Unilog solution delivered cleaner, standardized product data, faster onboarding after a strategic merger, streamlined internal operations, stronger sales enablement, rapid customer adoption, and expanded TIPCO’s brand to a national footprint.
