Galway Races faced the challenge of enhancing the visitor experience at its newly refurbished Ballybrit racecourse. The goal was to provide extensive live sporting and betting information to support guest activities throughout the main betting and hospitality areas. To address this, they partnered with Uniguest to implement the MediaStar IPTV solution.

Uniguest installed a network of encoders to distribute multiple live video feeds, including Sky Sports Racing and key betting channels, to almost 90 display screens. This solution ensured visitors could seamlessly track live races and odds, benefiting the on-site Ladbrokes betting shop and hospitality areas. The Uniguest system led to a significant increase in both betting turnover and champagne sales, successfully keeping visitors informed and entertained throughout their extended stay.
