A Uniguest Case Study
UBS Arena, a major multi-purpose venue and home of the New York Islanders, required a flexible and innovative technology solution to engage fans and enrich their experience across over 150 annual events. They partnered with Uniguest and its subsidiary Tripleplay to implement their Digital Engagement Platform, which incorporates digital signage and IPTV. The key challenge was the need to quickly and easily switch content for different events and sponsors from a central location.
The solution from Uniguest's Tripleplay provided a single CMS with Site Profile Switching functionality, allowing different events to manage content simultaneously and rebrand the arena with ease. This enabled the display of highly relevant content, including live game action via low-latency feeds and third-party advertising. The results included a significantly enhanced fan experience that encourages longer stays, alongside the creation of a valuable new revenue stream for the arena through sponsorships, supported by proof of play reporting for analytics.
