IET delivers enhanced HQ experience with Uniguest IPTV and Digital Signage

The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) required a sophisticated media distribution and digital signage system for its newly refurbished London headquarters. Their challenge was to create a state-of-the-art experience for members and venue hire clients by integrating IPTV, video conferencing, and content streaming across numerous meeting rooms, theatres, and common areas. To meet these diverse requirements, they partnered with vendor Uniguest and selected their MediaStar platform.

Uniguest implemented its MediaStar solution, which included the Media Manager control software, gateways, and numerous decoders and encoders. This system allows the IET to effortlessly distribute and schedule a wide range of content, including live TV, encoded media, and internal messaging, to over 45 displays and a video wall. The results include enhanced communication through integrated welcome boards and a room booking system, providing a highly flexible and impactful experience for everyone in the building.
