Perplexity, a provider of a powerful AI answer engine, faced the challenge of building an effective enterprise outbound sales engine from scratch. With a massive influx of freemium users, their small team needed a way to efficiently identify and target only the highest-value enterprise prospects with the most revenue potential, rather than manually engaging every lead. Product Marketing Lead Jenny Sung sought an end-to-end automation solution from Unify to qualify leads, personalize messaging, and engage prospects across multiple touchpoints.

The solution implemented was the Unify platform, which used over 25 native intent signals to identify warm leads and automate personalized outbound sequences called Plays.
