St. Mary’s University, a historic higher education institution in San Antonio, needed a mobile experience that matched its institutional brand and worked seamlessly with key campus systems. The university wanted an independent app that could integrate with Ellucian Banner, Canvas, and Office365 while giving administrators more flexibility to manage content and features in real time. Unifyed Mobile was selected to help address these needs.

Unifyed implemented a branded mobile app with out-of-the-box integrations, targeted messaging, and a self-service app management platform through Unifyed Studio. The solution gave students mobile access to email, schedules, grades, financial aid, campus events, and attendance tools, while also improving access for parents and prospects. St. Mary’s reported a major increase in student engagement, along with stronger communication and awareness of campus news and events, and highlighted the “Mark attendance” and “Attendance Verification” features as especially valuable.
