Towers School, a state school in South East UK, wanted to simplify the university application process and share responsibilities across staff. Careers and Progression Manager Philip Carter needed support for shortlisting courses, drafting Personal Statements, coordinating references, and signing off UCAS applications, while also helping teachers better understand what was required of subject references.

Using Unifrog, Towers School gave different staff members a way to support the same student through shortlisting, references, and Personal Statement drafting. Carter said Unifrog’s Personal Statement tool was the best he had used, the university search tool helped students compare courses and judge “aspirational” and “safe” choices, and the Apprenticeships tool supported students looking for local options. The school also used Unifrog to show Ofsted evidence of improving leavers’ destinations, and the Sixth Form received a very favourable review.
