A Unifrog Case Study
Thomas Whitham Sixth Form, a state school in North West UK, wanted to make the university application process easier for students and staff while also helping students broaden their options beyond the local area. Before using Unifrog, staff spent time researching university courses and entry requirements with students, and the school lacked the expertise to guide students toward apprenticeships and MOOCs.
Unifrog introduced its platform and the school embedded it into weekly tutor time, with all personal statements and references routed through the system. Thomas Whitham Sixth Form said this made the process more straightforward, helped students take more ownership, and allowed staff to intervene earlier when needed. Zoe Emmet, Head of Sixth Form, said the school has already invested in another two years because the platform has saved money by reducing staff input and helping more students through the application process.
