Reduction in SMS dropout percentage through using Unifonic services

RIZEK, an Abu Dhabi–headquartered on-demand “super app” launched in 2019, needed reliable, timely communication to keep users informed about service status, transactional updates and promotions across many verticals (home care, car services, beauty, healthcare) — a requirement made more critical when it became the first app to offer at‑home COVID‑19 PCR tests. To meet this challenge, RIZEK selected regional customer engagement platform Unifonic for end‑to‑end SMS communication via its SMS API.

Unifonic delivered a cloud communications platform (SMS API with a roadmap toward its omnichannel single‑API for voice and messaging apps) that RIZEK uses ad‑hoc for flexibility, scalability and cost efficiency. According to RIZEK, Unifonic’s ongoing platform enhancements have produced a significant reduction in SMS dropout percentage, improved delivery reliability, and provided the messaging scalability RIZEK needs as it prepares expansion into Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
