Circlys, a SAMA‑licensed digital ROSCA platform in Saudi Arabia that serves around one million users, needed a reliable, scalable way to secure accounts, speed transactions and maintain multi‑channel customer touchpoints as it digitised traditional savings circles. To address issues of poor record keeping, fraud prevention and onboarding at scale, Circlys integrated a communications platform from Unifonic—using SMS and WhatsApp for authentication, transaction alerts and marketing, plus Unifonic chatbots and APIs alongside its eKYC integrations.
Unifonic delivered a cloud‑based, enterprise‑grade communications solution that improved user experience, accelerated transaction flows and automated common support queries via chatbots. The platform’s scalability and global coverage supported Circlys’s growth (around 1M users) and expansion plans across the GCC, North Africa and East Asia, and helped underpin recent momentum including a $1.3M crowdfunding round.
