Leading UK-Based Energy Provider, a leading UK-based energy provider, wanted to compare the carbon impact of three marketing campaigns promoting more sustainable energy options such as solar panels. Using a mix of online and offline channels, the company needed a consistent way to measure emissions across very different media formats and understand which campaign approaches were most carbon-intensive.

UniFida implemented its CO2 Counter, developed with Net Zero Media, to calculate emissions across all three campaigns using the same methodology. UniFida’s solution revealed total emissions of just over 200 tonnes, identified OOH as the largest contributor at 44% of emissions, and calculated CO2 per £1,000 spent to support more carbon-efficient channel planning going forward.
