Tribal Group is a UK-based software provider for the education sector, with about 1,200 staff and SITS:Vision—its Uniface-built student and course management ERP—used by roughly 60% of the UK higher-education market. Faced with a large, mission-critical system (around 3,000 entities and 10,000 screens) Tribal needed to keep costs down, stay current with technology, support mobile access, and reliably serve hundreds of institutions and millions of users.

By building and evolving SITS:Vision on Uniface’s model-driven platform, Tribal delivered a highly configurable, platform-independent ERP with web services, mobile and cloud readiness, and strong auditability. The result: commercial success across 140 institutions and millions of users, efficient operations where 60 developers maintain and enhance the system, faster business-rule changes, and easier integration and customization for customers.
