FCS, a Japan-based IT services and systems integrator, needed a faster, more maintainable way to deliver bespoke solutions and package enhancements for ERP customers. Traditional customizations using .NET and Java proved inefficient and often required heavy rework when vendors released upgrades, so FCS sought a method to provide rapid, user‑friendly add-ons that wouldn’t complicate future updates.

FCS adopted Uniface to build HybridERP add-ons that sit alongside—rather than inside—the core package. Uniface lets developers emulate the package UI, integrate at the database or business‑logic level (including web services), and use features like “load definitions” and reusable starter kits for fast demos, prototypes and agile delivery. The result: seamless user experience, much easier upgrades thanks to clean interfaces, quicker time to value, and stronger customer engagement and maintainability.
