City of London engages 300 Taskforce members with Unhooked Communications

Unhooked Communications worked with the City of London to address a major workforce challenge. The city lacked the skilled labor necessary to decarbonize its commercial built environment, with an estimated need to recruit and upskill over 100,000 people for upcoming projects. The City of London established the Skills for a Sustainable Skyline Taskforce to tackle this issue and brought in Unhooked Communications to help develop a communications strategy.

Unhooked Communications, in collaboration with On the Tools, developed a comprehensive communications strategy for the Taskforce. This involved attending large meetings and hosting an interactive workshop with key stakeholders to shape the strategy, which included a suite of tactical ideas from events to press campaigns. The agreed-upon strategy is now being implemented by sub-groups, with the full campaign launch planned for 2024.
