The customer, a US-based managed security services provider (MSSP), faced challenges with its outgrown Event Tracking System (ETS), a security incident management platform originally built as a proof-of-concept. The system could no longer support collaborative development or future growth. To address this, they partnered with UnderDefense to overhaul and modernize the platform.

UnderDefense redesigned the ETS, implementing a new AWS-powered infrastructure and a modern Angular-based UI/UX from the ground up. They also delivered a new Virtual Appliance with various security modules, managed via a Restricted Shell. The results included a delivered MVP on a new technology stack, reduced operating costs through a custom SIEM, and the automation of daily CISO tasks, providing the MSSP with a scalable, analyst-focused solution for managing security events.
