A Unchained Robotics Case Study
ELHA Maschinenbau, a machining and engineering company based in Germany, faced the challenge of fully automating the manufacturing process for a new concrete hole drill. They determined it was not feasible to have an operator manually load, flip, and unload workpieces on their CNC machine all day. They chose Unchained Robotics to provide a complete automation solution.
Unchained Robotics implemented a customized MalocherBot Machine Tending S system. This solution autonomously managed the loading, flipping, and unloading of workpieces, allowing for long periods of unattended production. The key results were the creation of a nearly fully automated production station and a significant reduction in labor costs, enabling ELHA's employees to focus on higher value-added tasks.
