Wex Photo Video meets its commerce objectives with an AI-driven search

Wex Photo | Video, the UK’s leading camera retailer, faced a critical onsite search problem: its previous search provider often returned irrelevant results (for example, “Fujifilm Instax” queries surfacing accessories instead of cameras), driving high exit rates and zero-result searches that threatened conversion and revenue. To fix this, Wex selected Unbxd and its AI-driven product discovery platform to better interpret customer intent and improve product discovery.

Unbxd implemented deep-learning ranking models, natural language processing and AI-based Named Entity Recognition, plus smart merchandising and visually guided autosuggest to shorten the path-to-purchase.
