Broomberg, a New Delhi–based home services company offering cleaning, painting and floor restoration, needed more sales leads without increasing its paid advertising spend. Facing strong competition and a tight ad budget, the team focused on attracting organic traffic with high-quality, top-of-funnel blog content that addressed customer intent.
To convert that traffic they added timed popups on blog posts offering a free site visit and quote, personalized with a salesperson’s photo and triggered after about 100 seconds on mobile. The combination boosted blog-generated leads by 72% (Sept–Oct vs. July–Aug 2017); from Oct–Dec popups accounted for roughly 27% of painting leads and 23% of flooring leads, delivering extra leads equivalent to about 17–18% of their ad budget.
