Sev1Tech, founded in 2010, delivers IT, engineering, and program management services to federal and commercial clients. After acquiring a company more than twice its size, the firm faced the challenge of consolidating two different platforms into one system while handling a larger share of Cost Plus and OCONUS work, enforcing new employee and compliance rules, and streamlining processes to manage increased data volume.

Sev1Tech migrated employee and project data from Costpoint to Unanet Financials and used Unanet’s automated rules and Automated Analyst to enforce requirements, surface data issues, and provide real-time visibility into Cost Plus projects. The consolidation allowed seamless integration of the acquisition, reduced errors, produced cleaner invoices, sped cash cycles (with some payments in as few as five days), and improved overall operational efficiency.
