Trinity Leeds earns 23m reach with Umpf PR stunt

The shopping centre Trinity Leeds partnered with the PR and social agency Umpf to create a memorable community moment and increase footfall. The challenge was to celebrate Leeds United securing a spot in the EFL Championship Play-Off Final with a high-impact campaign.

Umpf executed a PR stunt by installing a massive 294-square-meter monochrome portrait of manager Daniel Farke on the centre's glass dome roof. This solution, completed in just seven days, achieved 25 pieces of media coverage, including front-page news and broadcast features, with a total reach of 23 million. The Umpf campaign successfully increased footfall and connected the client with the local community.
