Scholl, a 100‑year‑old global leader in foot care with products sold in over 50 countries, needed to launch a new global product and three digital campaigns while migrating from an old, unresponsive CMS to Umbraco 7 within a six‑month deadline. The brief required migrating over 9,000 pages and 1,300 products across 20+ languages, building 26 campaign microsites and 39 full sites, and creating a consistent global Scholl brand presence.
The Cogworks (Umbraco Gold Partner) implemented the solution using the Umbraco CMS, forming a cross‑functional team across design, development and content and working in one‑week agile sprints to simplify content, deliver high‑fidelity wireframes, and run parallel content and development streams. Thanks to Umbraco’s flexibility and The Cogworks’ project management, they launched 26 campaign sites across 14 markets (Phase 1), 4 third‑party market sites in two months (Phase 2), and migrated 39 Scholl websites in 20 languages containing over 9,000 pages and 1,300 products.
