Monmouthshire Building Society, founded in 1869 with 10 branches and 14 agencies across South Wales and the South West, needed a modern, responsive website and CMS after a full rebrand to better serve two key mortgage audiences (the general public and mortgage brokers) and avoid being left behind online. Spindogs chose Umbraco, implementing Umbraco CMS as the platform to reflect the society’s new identity and business needs.

Spindogs ran a discovery phase, created customer personas, and built an Umbraco-based multi-site solution with granular user permissions, a hidden authoring/staging site for compliance approvals, bespoke editable mortgage calculators, a payment gateway, and Umbraco Forms for the decision‑in‑principle process. The Umbraco solution lets MBS push approved content live with one click, accept mortgage payments online, and measure conversions via form completions, improving user experience and helping attract new customers.
