Hotel Le Recif needed a fresh, mobile‑friendly website after four years live and was running on Umbraco 4.7. The hotel (part of LUX* Resorts & Hotels) chose to move to Umbraco 7 and to host on Umbraco Cloud to deliver a modern responsive site and take advantage of new CMS functionality.

Umbraco rebuilt the site on Umbraco 7 using Umbraco Cloud, employing features like DataType Related Links and Partial Views to streamline content and build a new booking widget. The result was a smarter, responsive site plus much faster deployments (site goes live in seconds) and simplified maintenance—reducing the number of databases from three to one locally—demonstrating clear operational and performance gains from Umbraco.
